The company was founded in 1978 by Eli Goldstein. Eli was a true visionary, creating a company that produced superior quality items that fit well and were comfortable. In 1989, Eli's daughter, Linda Sherman, joined the company. Eli and Linda realized that they had to reinvent their line to set J'envie apart. They came up with a very simple formula that was modern, updated and stylish, reflecting all the latest fashion trends, but still comfortable and with an exceptional fit.
